Star Wars Xbox One Wired Controllers get release date

GameStop has revealed the release date for the upcoming Star Wars Xbox One Wired Controllers from Power A. According to the shopping website of the retailer, the product will be made available on the 22nd of April. If you are interested, you can preorder the GameStop-exclusive C3PO pad on GameStop.com as well as the Darth Vader, R2D2 and Stormtrooper versions from Amazon, with the following links: C3PO, Darth Vader, R2D2 and Stormtrooper.

In addition to having the same colors and designs as the iconic characters, the controllers also use symbols. In the case of the Darth Vader and Stormtrooper, the Empire logo is placed on the right handle. The C3PO and R2D2 pads have the Rebel Alliance symbol.

In terms of features, the officially-licensed wired Xbox One controllers uses a 9.8 foot cord. While the listing also mentioned that the product is “sturdy and reliable,” a two-year warranty is also included.

The pads may go well with Star Wars Battlefront, which was recently announced to be released on the 17th of November for the Xbox One (as well as the PlayStation 4 and PC).
