Activision has released ten new screenshots for the upcoming Transformers Devastation. If you are interested, the action game is available for preorder on Amazon with this link. As you can see above, the screens provide a look at some of the playable characters. For the uninformed, the project is being directed by Kenji Saito, who previously worked on the popular Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. The upcoming game mixes the trademarked Platinum action-packed gameplay with retro cel-shaded visuals for the cartoon series.
Transformers Devastation is actually one of many projects in development at Platinum Games. The company is also working with Nintendo on Star Fox Zero for Wii U, Square Enix on the next Nier videogame for PS4 in addition to Microsoft with Scalebound for Xbox One. Not to mention that Metal Gear Rising 2 has been teased recently as well.
The latest Transformers game has an expected release date set for Oct. 6 of this year in the North American region. Being a multiplatform release, it will be made available on the PC platform in addition to the following dedicated home consoles: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
