Entries are ordered by updated date, newest first, with the original publication date shown alongside so the age of each piece is visible before you open it. Pieces that describe a product or a price that is no longer current stay online as dated records; the context they carry is frequently the reason a page is still searched for years later.
Guides on Game Idealist follows the same rules as the data pages: every piece carries its original publication date and an updated date, facts are attributed to the platform holder, publisher or manufacturer that published them, and nothing is padded to look current. Sizes, codes and compatibility live on their own pages and are linked from the pieces that mention them, so a guide about a game leads to that game's install size and a fix article leads to the code's own entry.

How is the Guides section organised?
Pieces are listed newest first by their updated date. Each entry keeps its original publication date at the top so it is clear when the information was current; the updated date shows when it was last checked or expanded.
Where do the file sizes and error codes linked from Guides come from?
File sizes are read from the platform stores and dated; error-code meanings and steps are checked against the PlayStation support documentation and rewritten in plain language. Every data page names its source.
Why do older pieces stay online in Guides?
Games and hardware keep getting used long after release, and the questions people search for do not expire. Older pieces are kept, dated, and updated where the facts changed rather than deleted.
