ESRB details the Partial Nudity, Suggestive Themes and more in Kill la Kill – IF

The Entertainment Software Rating Board has revealed its description for Kill la Kill – IF. The fighting game ended up with a Mature rating due to contents categorized as Blood, Language, Partial Nudity, Suggestive Themes and Violence. You can find the full ESRB description below:

This is a fighting game in which players engage in arena-style one-on-one battles using characters from the anime series Kill la Kill. From a third-person perspective, players mostly punch and kick each other as they attempt to drain opponents’ life meters. Players can also use dramatic special/finishing moves to inflict more damage. Some cutscenes and battle sequences depict large sprays of blood when characters get decapitated and/or dismembered.

Finishing moves often allow players to blast the clothing off opponents, resulting in brief depictions of small nude figures in the background (no discernible nipples/genitalia). Some female characters wear revealing outfits that expose large amounts of their breasts and buttocks; a gallery mode allows players to zoom in on these characters’ bodies. The words “sh*t” and “b*tch” appear in the dialogue.

Kill la Kill – IF is releasing on July 26, 2019, in the U.S. region. If you are interested, you can pre-order the physical PS4 and Switch versions of the anime fighting game with this link from Amazon.
