The Headset Companion App has been updated, adding a new custom Days Gone audio profile for the PlayStation Platinum, Gold and Silver gaming headsets. For the uninformed, the application can be downloaded for free on the PlayStation Store. It will automatically update to include the custom Days Gone audio profile when launched.
The PlayStation Platinum, Gold and Silver all support 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound. The PlayStation Platinum is also capable of supporting 3D Audio. Days Gone was developed by Sony Bend and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It was first announced at E3 2016. The studio behind the game previously worked on Resistance: Retribution, Uncharted: Golden Abyss as well as the Syphon Filter series.
The open-world game takes place in post-apocalypse Oregon as players take on infected Freakers in addition to hostile humans.
