New Gameplay Modes and Features

This installment brought several new modes and gameplay mechanics to the series. A significant gameplay addition was ShowTime. This feature allowed players to slow down time during critical moments of a game, providing more precise control. ShowTime could be used while batting to get a better look at a pitch, during key defensive plays in the field, or when making a crucial baserunning decision. It was designed to add a dramatic, cinematic feel to pivotal plays.
