Xbox One Intercooler release date pushed back in U.S.

The release date for Nyko’s Xbox One Intercooler has been pushed backed in the United States. The accessory is now due for release on the 17th of February. You can preorder the cooling system for Microsoft’s current-gen console with this link on Amazon. A photo placed below should also give you an idea at what the product will look like when applied. According to Amazon’s listing, the Xbox One Intercooler is advertised to provide a reduction of “ambient air temperature” by pushing out the hot air from the console. Using a clip-on, it is attached to the top part of the Xbox One when the gaming machine is laying down horizontally. It has the same color and decor as the regular black version of the console, so it won’t look completely out of place.

Microsoft already took great steps to reduce the heat output of the Xbox One after the what happened with the original units of the Xbox 360. The last-gen console suffered from large system failure due to overheating. As a result, Microsoft decided to double down with the Xbox One by making sure that there will be enough air flow while using an external power supply.

Hopefully, Nyko’s Xbox One Intercooler will add more protection by removing the hot air from the console, which should prevent any potential system failures.
