Mature rating detailed for Telltale Games’ 7 Days to Die

The ESRB has revealed its rating summary for the upcoming 7 Days to Die. The open-world adventure game ended up with a Mature rating due to content relating to blood, gore, strong language and violence.

Players have to use various long range and melee weapons in order to fend off zombies. The encounters are highlighted by cries of pain, realistic sounding gun fire as well as large amounts of blood and gore. The dialogue also contains some swear words. This is an open-world adventure game in which players attempt to survive in a zombie-infested post-apocalyptic world. From a first-person perspective, players must find food, shelter, and supplies while battling hordes of attacking zombies. Players use axes, machine guns, shotguns, chainsaws, and sniper rifles to kill zombies. Combat is highlighted by realistic gunfire, large blood-splatter effects, and cries of pain. Some weapons allow players to decapitate and/or dismember zombies. The words “f**k,” “sh*t,” and “a*shole” appear in the game.
