PDP Rock Candy Mini Wired Controllers for Switch Get U.S. Release Date

PDP announced a U.S. release date for its line of Rock Candy Mini Wired Controllers for the Nintendo Switch. The third-party accessory maker confirmed the controllers would launch on December 14, 2021, with a suggested retail price of $24.99.

Preorders for the controllers were made available on Amazon ahead of the release date. The Rock Candy Mini line was designed to offer a smaller, more compact alternative to the official Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, making it a suitable option for players with smaller hands or those looking for a more portable wired gamepad.

Design and Features

The main draw of the Rock Candy series is its distinctive visual style. The controllers feature transparent polycarbonate shells that reveal the internal circuitry, available in a variety of bright, vibrant colors. The launch lineup of colors included Blu-Merang, Cherry-Fied, Cosmo-Berry, Pineapple Pop, Stormin’ Cherry, and Lime-Light.
