The digital version of the fighting game requires 33.5 GB of available hard drive space. For players who prefer not to download a file of that size, a physical disc version was also made available for preorder, though installation to the console’s hard drive is still mandatory for all PS4 games.

A 33.5 GB file size represents a significant portion of the storage available on the standard 500 GB hard drive included with the PlayStation 4 at the time. After accounting for the space reserved by the console’s operating system and essential files, the actual usable space for games and applications is considerably less than the advertised capacity. For players who purchase many games, storage management can become a regular task.

All PS4 games, whether purchased digitally or on a physical Blu-ray disc, require a full installation to the internal hard drive.
