Final Fantasy Box Set (FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX): Official Game Guides was scheduled to come out on March 17. However, several retailers have updated their listings to show that the product has been pushed back indefinitely. Amazon, for example, is now expecting it to launch sometime in July.

If you haven’t heard already, the Final Fantasy Box Set comes with revised and updated official strategy guides for the three mainline installments that were released for the PS1: Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy IX. Each of the three guides comes with a hardcover and ribbon bookmark. You will also get three holographic lithographs that are stored inside slipcases. So, if you are interested, preorder Final Fantasy Box Set (FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX): Official Game Guides via this page on Amazon.

Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII were both released for the PS1 and eventually ported to the PC. FF7 will be coming out on the PS4 later this spring as well even though Square Enix has not yet revealed any info on the port aside from its initial announcement. Final Fantasy IX only came out for the PS1. With that said, all three were officially emulated and re-released on the Sony Entertainment Store as PSOne Classics for the PS3, PSP and Vita systems.
