Being able to completely quit Forza Horizon 5 on your Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X can be somewhat tricky. To find out how to do so, you can check out this step-by-step guide.
1. Begin by pressing the Xbox button on your controller. This button should have the Xbox logo and will have a white light shining out of it.
2. If done correctly, you should bring up the Guide quick menu. Here, scroll down to Forza Horizon 5.
3. With Forza Horizon 5 highlighted, press the Menu button on your controller. This button has the three horizontal lines symbol.
4. If done correctly, you should see a pop-up menu for Forza Horizon 5. Here, you need to select “Quit” from the list of options with the A button on your controller.
The game should be completely closed down. This process will also remove the quick resume save state from the game.
As a result, the next time you launch the game, you will have to go through the initial loading screens and then get to the main menu of Forza Horizon 5. Your progress will also be reverted to your last auto-save.
