Suikoden 2 ESRB rating for PS3 returns once again; PSP and Vita platforms also added

Back in April the ESRB put up a rating indicating that Suikoden 2 would eventually be released on the PlayStation 3 as a PSOne Classic. For some reason, the listing was taken down taken down relatively quickly. Thankfully, the rating has reappeared once again with some new updates. Aside from the PlayStation 3, the PlayStation Portable and Vita platforms have been added.

Suikoden 2 is one of the most requested games that fans want to be added as a PSOne Classic on the Sony Entertainment Network Store. One of the reasons is that it is considered by many to be one of the best JRPGs ever developed. The other is that it is incredibly rare and will cost you a pretty penny to track down (take a look at the current price tag right now on Amazon with this link).

We previously reported on the efforts being made by Yuichi Haga, the Online Content Producer for Konami Digital Entertainment, in an attempt to get the Japan offices of his employer to release of Suikoden 2 as a PSOne Classic in the United States. With the new ESRB listing, it seems like the JRPG is finally coming out, hopefully sooner rather than later.
