Horizon: Zero Dawn developers talk hard difficulty and possibility of demo

In a recent Twitch live stream of Horizon: Zero Dawn, Guerilla Games’ Community Manager Jeroen Roding and Community Editor Victor Zuylen revealed some details regarding the hard difficulty mode. The duo confirmed that there will be less healing herbs and ridge-wood to harvest if you choose to play at a higher difficulty. The enemies will also deal more damage. They suggest that you have to be more careful and up your skill in this mode.

Jeroen Roding and Victor Zuylen also revealed that there will be no playable demo of Horizon: Zero Dawn. With that said, they did say that there will be some events where you could get some hand-on with the game.

Guerilla Games recently went gold in the development for Horizon: Zero Dawn, which means that the PlayStation 4 exclusive is now ready to be manufactured. The studio previously developed the Killzone series.

The new intellectual property, which is coming out on the 28th of February in the North American region, takes place thousands of years after an unknown apocalyptic event. Mysterious animal-like machines now roam the land with humans regulated to mostly small settlements. If you are interested and haven’t done so already, you can preorder the physical version of Horizon: Zero Dawn with this link from Amazon.
