It looks like Activision is preparing to release a new bundle for Call of Duty. Amazon is listing the Call of Duty: Black Ops Combo Pack for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The product contains Call of Duty: Black Ops, the First Strike DLC pack for the first game as well as Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Amazon is currently has a release date for the bundle set for May 1, which is most likely a placeholder. With that said, Activision usually announced a new Call of Duty videogame in early May. So it should not be a surprise if the bundle will come out at around the same time as well to take advantage of the hype.
The above-mentioned Combo Pack strongly suggests that the next game in the franchise will most likely end up being Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Treyarch, the developer of the first two games, should be working on the potential third installment. Whatever the next Cod game will be, it is expected to come out in November of this year.
