Beta codes for Street Fighter V being sent; download size revealed

Street-Fighter-V-screens_09_StompAmazon and GameStop are now sending out codes for the Street Fighter V beta. When redeemed, the beta will take up just 1.409 GB to download. With that said, you will also need to download an update file that is also 1.409 GB in size.

The multiplayer beta will begin on July 23rd at 18:00 PT and will last for five days. It features four playable characters in the beginning: Charlie, Chun-Li, M. Bison and Ryu. Birdie and Cammy will also be added to the roster on July 25th.

When the beta launches, participants can only play online multiplayer as local multiplayer won’t be supported. After selecting a character, they will be placed in a training room until the servers can find another player.

In order to receive a Street Fighter V beta code, you have to preorder the videogame on the PlayStation 4. If you haven’t done so already, there is still time to reserve the sequel and participate in the beta.

The final version of Street Fighter V is coming out early next year. It will initially launch with 16 fighters on the roster. Capcom also recently announced that all DLC packs, including new characters, can be earned in-game in addition to being available for purchase.
