Bloodborne Collector’s Edition gets a packaging update in U.S.

It looks like Sony has changed the packaging design for the U.S. release of Bloodborne Collector’s Edition, at least according to a listing update from Amazon. Instead of the original art work where you can see the character and the city’s street, the new version feature a plain white background. The designers also added some bloodstains. If you haven’t already, the Collector’s Edition of the RPG can be preordered with this page on the retailer’s website. Compare the two versions of the packaging below this paragraph.

The product is going to release on the 24th of March, the same day as the launch for the standard version of the same game.

Bloodborne was initially slated to come out in February but it ended up being delayed until March. The game is the spiritual successor to the Dark Souls and Demon’s Souls series. It will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4 as SCE Japan Studio is helping with the development of the project along with the main developer, From Software.
