Amazon has listed the release date for the upcoming physical release of Minecraft: Story Mode. According to the shopping website, the disc version will be launching in the North American region on the 27th of October. The physical release will come with the first of five episodes for the episodic videogame. Customers will also get access to download the four remaining chapters at no additional cost when they are released. So you will need an internet connection to get the full experience of the season disc.
For the uninformed, Mojang is partnering with Telltale Games for Minecraft: Story Mode. Similar to the other adventure title from Telltale, the story will change based on the choices you make when talking to others in addition to during the action sequences. The game features the following voice actors and actresses: Ashley Johnson, Brian Posehn, Corey Feldman, Dave Fennoy, Martha Plimpton, Patton Oswalt, Paul Reubens and Scott Porter.
Minecraft: Story Mode Season Disc will be available for purchase on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game is also coming out, in digital-only form, for the Wii U, PC, iOS and Android platforms.
