Capcom provides some clarity on Resident Evil Revelations 2’s length, platinum trophy and more

resident_evil_revelations_2_13_bmp_jpgcopyCapcom’s Associate Brand Manager, Mike Lunn, provided some clarity on a few of the lingering questions for Resident Evil Revelations 2. Hidden away in the comments portion of the U.S. PlayStation Blog, he first said that each of the four episodes takes around a “couple hours” to finish. Of course, the time could decrease or increase depending on your skill level.

Now for the all important platinum trophy info. Mr. Lunn confirmed that it can be earned in the Complete Season and Retail Disc versions of the videogame without any restrictions. If you are choosing to go with the episodic purchasing route, you will need to buy all four episodes if you want the opportunity to unlock the platinum trophy.

Last but not least, he also addressed the disparity in the prices for Resident Evil Revelations 2. For the uninformed, buying each episode separately costs slightly less than downloading the Complete Season and a lot cheaper than the Retail Disc release. Mike Lunn explained that this is due to the Complete Season having additional bonus content. The disc version is going to include even more extras as well.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is releasing early next year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Preorder the Retail Disc version right now on Amazon.
