Greg Moore, Senior Community and Online Specialist at Capcom, talked a little bit about the upcoming Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition through multiple Twitter posts. He first confirmed that you will be able to fight Dante while playing as Vergil. You won’t be able to fight Vergil as Dante, however, as that scenario has been done before and he hasn’t heard anything about adding any additional bosses in the remastered version of Devil May Cry 4:
Something cool I haven’t seen anyone call out yet is that 4SE will finally let ya fight Dante as Vergil. Pretty much immediately, in fact!

@tundragamer No, but that’s been done.

@AkillerSp @tundragamer tbh, I haven’t played thru BPM with anyone so I can’t say for sure, but I haven’t heard anything about adding bosses

Greg Moore also mentioned that, although all of the major features for the Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition have already been announced, Capcom still has more stuff from the game to show off, including specific gameplay tweaks, costumes and move sets:
@tundragamer We haven’t withheld any major features, but smaller tweaks and costumes have yet to be shared, ntm the new characters’ moves.

Last but not least, he said that Nero won’t be getting any new moves as his set is already robust enough. However, the character will get some new costumes:
@Skbzi Nope.

@Skbzi He’s already got a super-robust move set, tbh. I suppose the reason to play with him would be if you find it fun. Also new costumes.

In addition to Vergil, you will also be able to play as Lady and Trish in Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition. The remastered version runs at 1080p (along with up-res textures) and 60 frames per second. It will be released later this summer as a digital-only game in the west on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
