It looks like Hori has several accessories being planned for the launch of the New Nintendo 3DS XL. The company will be selling the Retro NES Controller Hard Pouch. Both pouches are officially licensed by Nintendo and will also work with the regular 3DS XL system as well as the New 3DS XL, holding the system in place with a strap. There are also different pockets to store an extra stylus and up to six game cartridges. It is designed to protect its innards from dirt and scratches.
The Retro NES Controller Hard Pouch and Hard Pouch are releasing on the 23rd of February in the United States. The actual New Nintendo 3DS XL is launching ten days earlier on the 13th of February with launch games like Monster Hunter Ultimate 4 and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D.
