Robert Cogburn talks about Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta tuning, data collecting and more

uncharted-4-a-thiefs-endIn an interview during PlayStation’s live stream event at PSX 2015, Robert Cogburn talked a little bit about the current online multiplayer beta for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The lead game designer behind the project revealed that Naughty Dog is pleased with the overall results of the test so far.

He also mentioned that they have received great engagement from the community of beta testers in regards to what elements need tuning. The studio is dialed in trying to get the multiplayer to be as balanced as possible. Last but not least, Robert Cogburn also revealed that they decided to stuff the beta with plenty of content to get as much data as possible.

For the uninformed, the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer beta is included in Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. Gamers will need either a digital of physical copy of the compilation to have access. The testing will end on the 13th of December.

The fourth mainline Uncharted game will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 next spring on the 18th of March.
