Peach version of Hori’s Mario Kart 8 Racing Wheel released in U.S.

The Peach version of the Mario Kart 8 Racing Wheel has been released in the United States. Hori previously released the Mario and Luigi iterations of the same accessory during the launch of the Wii U exclusive racer last May. If you haven’t already, you can buy the Peach version via this page on Amazon.

The Hori racing wheel is officially licensed by Nintendo for use with the Wii U and, more specifically, Mario Kart 8. The attachment is designed to fit a Wii Remote (which is not included), including the “B” trigger button located in the back of the controller. Since the new release is based on the princess, it uses a pink color theme along with several insignias.

Mario Kart 8 came out on the 30th of May in 2014. The racing game has multiple control options, including using the motion controls of the above-mentioned Wii Remote. The racing wheel attachment should add more immersion and provide better accuracy.
