Nick Accordino has revealed more details in regards to Gravity Rush 2. In an interview during IGN’s E3 2016 live stream, the Sony producer first announced that, while the main focus of the game is still in the single-player campaign, there will also be asynchronous multiplayer. Players will be able to race against the ghosts of friends in challenges and more.
Nick Accordino also talked a little bit about talismans. Kat can boost her abilities by equipping these items. With that said, there are also “Monkey Paws” side effects such as enemies becoming stronger.
Gravity Rush 2 is the direct sequel to Gravity Rush, which first came out for the PlayStation Vita and later ported to the PlayStation 4. The upcoming title adds two gravity styles with Lunar and Jupiter to add more depth to both combat and traversal.
In the same interview, Nick Accordino also confirmed that Gravity Rush 2 is expected to come out later this year in the North American region.
