Gravity Rush Remastered getting a physical release in North America

It looks like Gravity Rush Remastered will be getting a physical release in North America after all. Sony Computer Entertainment previously announced that the game is exclusive, as a digital download, on the PlayStation Store. According to a listing from Amazon, however, Sony will be releasing a disc version as well. You can preorder it by using this link. You can find the box art below this paragraph.Gravity Rush RemasteredFans were previously upset that Gravity Rush Remastered was only available as a digital download in North America, especially considering that the same game was getting a physical release in Europe and Japan. So it looked like the petitioning ended up working.

Gravity Rush Remastered was developed by BluePoint Games, the same team responsible for re-mastering God of War Collection, The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Flower as well as the recently released Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

The PS4 version of Gravity Rush comes with enhanced visuals in addition to being able to use the motion sensors of the DualShock 4 to manipulate gravity. According to the listing, Gravity Rush Remastered will be released in the North American region next year on the 2nd of February (Update: the date has now been changed to Feb 9). Gravity Rush 2 is also expected to hit sometime in 2016.
