It seems like Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is coming to the PC. Amazon.it has put up a listing for the videogame, indicating that it is going to ship next year on the 20th of March. It is also the same day as the releases of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.
The listing may not be too surprising if you look at Square Enix’s recent history. The publisher announced in September that Final Fantasy XIII is coming to the PC on the 9th of October. The two other games in the trilogy, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, are launching next spring.
For those unfamiliar with Final Fantasy Type-0, it started out as a PlayStation Portable game. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports contain much better graphics, especially with Square Enix adding in new assets. With the two next-gen system being quite similar to the PC from an architectural standpoint, a PC release was an easy decision.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD comes with a playable Final Fantasy XV demo on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We do not know if the PC version will also have it since Final Fantasy XV has only been officially for the two next-gen consoles.
In the United States, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is going to be made available on the 17th on March in 2015. Preorder both new RPGs right now on Amazon – Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.
