The exact release date has been listed by GameStop for the upcoming Aqua Blue PlayStation Vita. According to the shopping website, the new color variation is expected to come out on the 6th of November in the North American region. As you can see above, the aqua blue colors covers everything on the system with the exception of the analog sticks, camera and display screen.
For the uninformed, the Aqua Blue system is part of the PCH-2000 series, which is slighter thinner and weigh a little less when compared to the original model. The biggest change is replacing the OLED screen with a LCD one, which results in a different picture quality (for better or worse) and improved battery life. The other major modification is the addition of 1 GB of internal memory. As a result, you don’t need a memory card in order to play games that previously require the accessory.
Although Sony will no longer be releasing any big games on the Vita, there are still plenty of quality indie games, as well as niche Japanese titles, to look forward to in the future.
