Bloodborne is developed in a collaboration between From Software and SCE Japan. The same two companies previously teamed up with Demon’s Souls before From Software went multiplatform with Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2.
Compared to the previous Souls games, Bloodborne features a much faster combat as blocking is no longer as important as before with shields being significantly weakened. You can also regain health points by attacking enemies. Sony is releasing the exclusive on the 24th of March. The above-mentioned Dark Souls 2 is also coming to the PS4 under the name of Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin on April 7.
