In a long video interview with WhatGear on Youtube, Brian Ayers talked a little bit about the PS4 arcade stick compatibility in the upcoming Street Fighter V.
The brand manager specifically mentioned the Mad Catz Tournament Edition 2 as Capcom has been pairing the accessory up with the upcoming fighting when it comes to trade shows as well as in-house play testing. For the uninformed, Mad Catz will be releasing Street Fighter V Chun Li version of the TE2, which you can preorder with this link, later this year in North America.
Furthermore, he also confirmed that any PlayStation 4 sticks that were released after the game was announced in December of 2014 will be compatible with the fifth main Street Fighter game as well. The list should include the currently-available Hori Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai and Hori Real Arcade Pro 4 Premium VLX KURO Fighting Stick as well as the upcoming Hori Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai Silent Fight Stick and Mad Catz Street Fighter V FightStick Alpha.
Street Fighter V is expected to come out in the first quarter of 2016 for the PlayStation 4 console. The fighting game will also be released for the PC as players on both platforms will be able to play online together.
