The Mad Catz Store shopping website has put up a listing for the Street Fighter V FightPad Pro, revealing some new information in regards to the unique looking directional pad. According to the retailer, the d-pad has been “custom-crafted” for games in the fighting genre. The eight-way motions should make it easier to perform certain button combinations when compared to the DualShock 4 and other controllers with a traditional directional pad. For the uninformed, the Mad Catz Street Fighter V FightPad Pro also comes with a left analog stick in addition to L2 and R2 triggers. Both of these aren’t normally found in a controller dedicated to fighting games.

The fifth main installment of the series is launching with 16 characters with more coming via downloadable content. The DLC can be earned with in-game currency or by using your real money.
