This year’s installment of RBI Baseball features several improvements such as a new lighting system, defensive fielding options as well as reworked pitching AI.
In terms of gameplay features, the upcoming game will support local and online multiplayer. Gamers can also change their team’s roster in both pre-game as well as in-game situations (the roster can be set to the full 40-man or the classic 16-man options). Last but not least, the season mode play can be fast forwarded as multiple baseball games can be simulated quickly if the end user want to move right away to the postseason.
MLB The Show 16 is coming out at around the same time on the 29th of March. While having more modes and better graphics, The Show franchise is quite a bit of more expensive and is only limited to PlayStation platforms.
