The Turtle Beach Recon 50, 50P, 50X, 60P and Camo gaming headsets have the same frequency response when it comes to their speakers at 20Hz to 20kHz.

The 50 and Camo gaming headsets do not have support for Amplified Audio, a feature which makes the game and chat stereo audio louder than normal. The 60P supports this feature although it is limited only to the PlayStation 4 platform. With the newly available 200, however, Amplified Audio can be used on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One home consoles.
The Turtle Beach Recon 200 is the only headset in this series to come with Bass Boost, which adds a little impact to the sound output.
Xbox One Surround Sound
The 200 is also the only Recon headset that supports Surround Sound on the Xbox One as it takes advantage of Windows Sonic for Headphones audio output. It also supports Dolby Atmos for Headphones.
The Turtle Beach 50, 60P and Camo gaming headsets use a removable microphone while the Turtle Beach 200 has a flip-up mic that will automatically mute when moved away from your mouth’s direction. All of these mics are designed to be highly sensitive as they should pick up your voice clearly.
The Recon 50, 60P and Camo use in-line controls for master volume and microphone muting options. The 200 headset has onboard controls as there are wheels for master volume and variable mic monitoring adjustments as well as a switch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One compatibility.

In terms of features, the new Turtle Beach Recon 200 Gaming Headset is hard to beat as it Amplified Audio (for all platforms), Bass Boost and is the only product on the Recon series to support surround sound on the Xbox One.
The Turtle Beach Recon Camo is a good alternative if you are looking for a headset with bigger speaker size. The 60P is good for PlayStation 4 gamers who are interested in the Amplified Audio feature at a slightly lower priced compared to the 200. Last but not least, the Turtle Beach Recon 50, 50P and 50X are for those looking for a cheaply priced but quality headset and don’t care about any of the aforementioned advanced features.
