Compatibility

Of course, both the Thrustmaster VG TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition and Logitech G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel are compatible with the Xbox One (and should also be supported by the upcoming Xbox One X). The two have been officially licensed by Microsoft for use with the home console.

Furthermore, both products are also compatible with the PC platform. The Logitech G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel uses the Logitech Gaming Software on compatible computer racing games. In regards to the Thrustmaster VG TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition, you will need an operating system of Windows XP/Visa/7/8/10.

Steering

Both the G920 and VG TX provide 900 degrees of rotation. As a result, you can turn these steering wheel two and a half times around in both the left and right directions. The two also have a steering wheel stripe that you can use it as a visual cue if you position the wheel high enough to be in your viewing angle when looking at your television screen.

Force Feedback

For force feedback, the Logitech G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel uses a dual-motor to provide simulated effects.

The Thrustmaster VG TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition uses a brushless servomotor, with frictionless action and a 900 degrees dual-belt system, for seamless rumble.

Accuracy

The Logitech G920 uses helical gears that are modeled after the gears from automotive transmissions. It also uses anti-backlash that will keep both the wheel and pedals tight. It also comes with a hall-effect steering sensor, which utilizes magnetic fields for accurate steering.

The VG TX also uses a magnetic sensor as it incorporated Thrustmaster’s HallEffect AccuRate Technology (or H.E.A.R.T. for short).

Xbox Buttons

The Logitech G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel has all four face buttons of the Xbox One Controller (A,B, X and Y), LB button, RB button, Menu button, View button, Xbox button as well as a directional pad.

The Thrustmaster VG TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition has the four face buttons, Menu button, View button, Xbox button and directional pad.

Pedal Unit

The pedal unit included with Logitech G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel comes with three stainless steel pedals: break, clutch and throttle. The brake pedal has also been designed to simulate the pressure-sensitive brake system you find in real cars. Last but not least, the pedal unit uses rubber feet and retractable carpet grip system, making it quite stable across numerous surfaces.

The Thrustmaster VG TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition comes with the Thrustmaster T3PA 3-Pedal Wide Pedal Set, which is also available as a standalone product (you can check out the add-on version with this link on Amazon). It is weighted down so that it won’t be easily moved and built with threaded holes for cockpit setups. This set includes three metal pedals for accelerating, breaking and clutching.

These pedals have different customization settings as well as you can adjust the spacing and angle for all three. Furthermore, the accelerator pedal has two different height settings.

The pedal unit of the VG TX also has individual pressure settings. The accelerator has a  pressure setting of around 5.5 pounds while the clutch pedal is approximately 11 pounds. The brake pedal is set, by default, to 22 pounds. However, if you used the included conical rubber brake mod, you can change the pressure settings anywhere from 33 to 55 pounds.
