Sound Output

The Stealth 600 is capable of outputting Virtual Surround Sound on the PlayStation 4. The Xbox One version uses a equivalent output called the Windows Sonic Surround Sound.

The Stealth 700 on PlayStation 4 uses DTS Headphone:X 7.1 Surround Sound while the Xbox One version of the 700 supports Windows Sonic Surround Sound.

Both the Elite 800 on PS4 and Elite 800X on Xbox One have DTS Headphone:X 7.1 Surround Sound.

Speaker Size

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gaming Headset and Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gaming Headset both have 50 mm speakers with neodymium magnets. The Turtle Beach Elite 800 Gaming Headset and Turtle Beach Elite 800X Gaming Headset are installed with 50 mm speakers.

Connection Type

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 and Turtle Beach Stealth 700 will both connect directly to the Xbox One. The same headsets require an USB transmitter, which are included in the products, on the PlayStation 4.

The Turtle Beach Elite 800 and 800X will also connect wirelessly to the PS4 and Xbox One respectively. Both of these require the included transmitter, which also doubles as a magnetic charging stand.

With the new 600 and 700 gaming headsets, Turtle Beach made sure that the products fit comfortably with glasses as it removes any added pressures. The ear cushions are also wrapped with a breathable mesh.

Microphone

Speaking of microphones, the Stealth 600 and Stealth 700 use an omni-directional mic that will mute when folded up on the headset.

Both the 800 and 800X headsets come equipped with a hidden boomless microphone.

Microphone Features

The Turtle Beach 600, 700, 800 and 800X all use the mic monitoring feature, which lets you hear your voice from within your headset. As a result, you do not have to shout in order to hear yourself talk while wearing the headsets.

Battery Life

The 700, 800 and 800X each have a battery life of up to 10 hours. The 600 series lasts longer, with up to 15 hours in a single full charge.
