So what are the best New Nintendo 3DS compatible games that will be enhanced with the new C-stick? Find out in our newest rankings below.

5. Resident Evil Revelations

Resident Evil Revelations is still one of the most technically impressive games on the 3DS. Similar to the most recent games in the series, the handheld release takes place from a third-person perspective. You will often need to gun down enemies and aim at specific parts, which is much easier when using the C-stick of the New Nintendo 3DS. If you are a fan of the survival-horror genre, then you should play the spin-off release.

4. Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D

A lot of Metal Gear Solid fans still consider the third main installment the best in the series as it marked the origin story of Big Boss. In the 3DS version, you have the ability to use the handheld’s camera lens to create your own camouflage. Because sneaking around is key, the C-stick is a crucial factor to your enjoyment as it gives you control over the in0game camera, which will otherwise be cumbersome. If you haven’t played Metal Gear Solid 3 yet, make sure to give it a try on the New Nintendo 3DS.

3. Kid Icarus: Uprising

Masahiro Sakurai, decided to revive the Kid Icarus franchise in between Super Smash Bros. installments. Kid Icarus: Uprising is an action game that features on-rail flying sections along with the more traditional ground sequences. Without the Circle Pad Pro, however, left-handed players will have a hard time playing as you need to use the stylus to aim and the left analog to move. Thankfully, the latest hardware revision comes with the right analog C-stick, which should make this great exclusive playable for gamers who are left-handed.

Nintendo was able to secure the exclusive handheld releases of the Monster Hunter series after the games became quite popular on the PSP. In both Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, the camera (which works a lot better with the C-stick) is essential as you have to dodge attacks and target specific parts of gigantic enemies. While the two localized versions are great, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has full online functionalities so that you can play cooperatively with your friends and others.
