Amazon has revealed the price tag for the upcoming PlayStation 4 videogame, Ratchet and Clank. According to the online retailer, the re-imagining is going to be priced 33 percent less than what most new games cost on the current-gen console. You can preorder the exclusive release with this page on on the online retailer’s website.
For the uninformed, the PS4 platformer offers a fresh take of the series as it will include some story elements from the first game in addition to adding several features, including weapons such as the Groovitron, from the more recent installments.
Ratchet and Clank was first confirmed at E3 2014 as part of a tie-in to an upcoming movie with the same name. A year later, Insomniac Games provided a first look at the gameplay. While it looks like the game will be similar to the previous installments in terms of how it plays, there is a big jump when it comes to graphics.
The online retailer currently has a placeholder date set for the 30th of June of 2016 in the North American region. Insomniac Games previously confirmed that the re-imagining is getting delayed from its initial 2015 launch until sometime during the spring season of next year. At the same time, the tie-in movie will be made available as well.
