New photos and details have been posted by Amazon for the upcoming Mad Catz Ultra Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 2. The product is compatible with both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. You can preorder the Mad Catz arcade stick through the retailer’s site with this page. Check out a few photos of the upcoming Ultra Street Fighter IV version below this paragraph.Aside from the Ultra Street Fighter IV artwork on the top panel (which you can swap with another custom piece), the Tournament Edition 2 uses the same Sanwa Denshi parts as arcade cabinets. It has a “Vewlix-style design” along with eight action buttons and a three-way button joystick (allowing you to switch between the d-pad, left analog and right analog control modes). The metal base also provides a solid feel while its non-foam padding will make it comfortable if you decide to rest the stick on your lap.
To prevent any potential latency, the Mad Catz Ultra Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 2 comes with a removable ProCable for USB connection. One last feature is the shoulder strap, which makes the product easier to carry around.
Mad Catz is releasing the Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 2 on the 24th of April. If you haven’t heard already, Capcom is bringing Ultra Street Fighter IV to the PlayStation 4 sometime this spring. The same company will also release Street Fighter V for the same system down the line. So, if you are looking for an arcade stick to play both upcoming fighting games, you should check out the above-mentioned product.
