Now that the pre-load is available for Assassin’s Creed Unity on PlayStation 4, the file size has been revealed for the sequel on Sony’s current-gen console. The videogame is going to take up 40.98 GB when downloaded from the Sony Entertainment Network Store. This does not take into account the patch, which requires an additional 882.2 MB to download.
Fortunately, Assassin’s Creed Unity does support PlayGo as you only need to download and install the first chunk of data at 7.53 GB to start playing while the rest of the game continues to download in the background. If you are on a bandwidth limit, you can opt to buy the disc releases with this link on Amazon. You can then install the game data directly from the disc. With that said, you will still need to download the 882.2 MB patch.
Assassin’s Creed Unity is available on the 11th of November. The videogame is exclusive to the two current-gen consoles, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, along with the PC. On the console side, Unity has the same 900p native resolution. Last-gen gamers won’t be missing out on the series this year either with the release of Assassin’s Creed Rogue for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the same day.
