The file size has been revealed for the North American release of Gravity Rush Remastered. According to the PlayStation Store shopping website, the PlayStation 4 port of the original Vita game will take up 9.2 GB of free space (when viewed directly from the PS4, the store shows a slightly higher 9.9 GB).
For the uninformed, Sony initially intended to only release Gravity Rush Remastered as a digital download in North America (the game came in both digital and physical formats in Japan). Fortunately, Sony eventually teamed up with Amazon for a disc release in the west. In addition to improving the resolution and frame rate, BluePoint Games also enhanced the texture quality from the original Vita game. The PlayStation 4 version comes with all the post-launch DLC packs in addition to a gallery mode as well. All of the above-mentioned additions resulted in a bigger file size when compared to the handheld release.
Gravity Rush Remastered will be released in the North American region on the 2nd of February. Sony is also planning to release Gravity Rush 2 for the PlayStation 4, which could come out in 2016.
