The Xbox Store shopping website has listed the file size for the Xbox One version of Need for Speed. The reboot of the racing franchise will require 17.91 GB of free space from the storage of Microsoft’s current-gen system. Of course, the game will also be available physically as well (you can preorder the disc release with this link on Amazon) if you are concern about having to download that big of a file.
For the uninformed, Need for Speed uses full motion videos, which will eat up a lot of space, that take place from a first-person perspective to tell its story. Players will be able to choose between five different gameplay scenarios: Build, Crew, Outlaw, Speed and Style. The other notable features include deep vehicle customizations in addition to featuring the following real-life car icons: Ken Block, Magnus Walker, Morohoshi-San, Nakai-San and Risky Devil. With that said, you will need an online connection to play the game.
Need for Speed will be released for the Xbox One, as well as the PC and PlayStation 4 platforms, on the 3rd of November in the North American region. If you are a fan of the NFS series and/or racing games in general, you might want to check out the upcoming reboot.
