It seems like Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix is now being sold as a Greatest Hits videogame. Amazon updated the product page with a new cover showing the red header. You can find the new cover and price of the collection right now on the e-commerce website.
Greatest Hits for Playstation 3 were announced at E3 2008 in a rather nifty way with a LittleBigPlanet level created just for the presentation. To be eligible for the line, a videogame must be on the market for at least 10 months and sell at least 500,000 copies. Sony has the same program for the Playstation, Playstation 2 and Playstation Portable. Conversely, a similar line has not yet been announced for the Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix passed the “amount of time on the marketplace criteria” since it was released on 10th of September in 2013. It sold well too as it managed to sell around 270k units for its debut month in the United States alone.
The success of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix should bold well for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, which is coming out on the 2nd of December, and Kingdom Hearts 3. If you haven’t already, you can preorder the two upcoming releases right now on Amazon – Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts 3.
