File size revealed for Salt and Sanctuary on PlayStation 4

salt-and-sanctuary-screenshotThe file size has been revealed for the PlayStation 4 version of Salt and Sanctuary. According to the PlayStation Store listing, when viewed from the PS4, the 2D side-scrolling action role-playing game will require 890.9 MB of free space (when viewed from the web browser version of the shopping website, the software product shows a slightly lower requirement of 850 MB).

For the uninformed, Salt and Sanctuary is the latest project from Ska Studios, the independent studio behind The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai and The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile. In the upcoming title, the development team decided to borrow some elements from the Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls and Bloodborne videogames as it features a deep action-based combat system that requires precise timing as well as positioning.

So, if you are a fan of the developer’s works and/or the Souls series, you might want to check out the promising Salt and Sanctuary. The downloadable game will be released first for the PlayStation 4 on the 15th of March. It will also be launching for the PC and PlayStation Vita at a later date.

The PS4 comes with either a 500 GB or 1 TB internal HDD already installed. If you need more space, you can replace the default drive with one that has a bigger capacity.
