The Entertainment Software Rating Board has revealed its rating summary for the upcoming Metroid Prime: Federation Force. The Nintendo 3DS exclusive ended up with a Teen rating due to Fantasy Violence.
The fights are highlighted with cries of pains, explosions and gunfire while defeated enemies are disintegrated. You can find the full rating summary for the latest Metroid Prime installment below:
This is a first-person shooter in which players control Federation Space Marines as they complete objectives and battle enemy forces in a fictional galaxy. Players control specialized battle “mechs” as they explore planets to recover materials/personnel, and engage in combat with aggressive alien creatures. Players use blaster-like weapons and missiles to kill various enemies (e.g., ice titans, giant insects, space pirates, droids) in frenetic battle. Creatures disintegrate in a black particle effect when defeated. Battles are highlighted by gunfire, explosions, and cries of pain.
Metroid Prime: Federation Force is being developed by Next Level Games, the same studio behind Punch-Out!! for the Nintendo Wii as well as Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon for the Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo will be releasing the software product on the 19th of August in North America. If you are interested, you can preorder Federation Force on Amazon with this link.
