The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy standalone volumes get release dates, covers and other info

Dark Horse is going to re-release The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy as three standalone volumes. The first volume, The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy Book 1, has Yoshitaka Amano’s works from the first three games of the series. Along with the main characters, the 144-page book also contains illustrations for the enemies in addition to the Final Fantasy Symphonic Suite CD Oath of Dawn and anime based on the RPG series.

The first volume is available on the 21st of October. The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy Book 2, which contains 276 pages, is launching on the 4th of November. The last chapter, The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy Book 3, has 156 pages and will be made available two weeks later. Preorder all three right now on Amazon – Book 1, Book 2 and Book 3. Yoshitaka Amano had a hand in all of the major Final Fantasy releases so far as a character designer, graphic designer and title logo designer. Some of his works have became iconic.
