The Xbox Store shopping website has listed some details for the upcoming Samurai Pack in Mortal Kombat X. The DLC will take up just 8.84 MB of free space on the hard disk drive of the Xbox One, which shouldn’t be a big issue as the system comes equipped with a 500 GB HDD.
For the uninformed, the Samurai Pack comes with the Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana character skins. You can check out the costumes below this paragraph. The Xbox One Store also pegged a release date for the expansion at the 21st of April. With that said, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced recently that holders of the Kombat Pack season pass will be able to access the Samurai Pack, as well as the other DLC releases, earlier than customers who are planning to buy the downloadable content separately. So the date may be different depending on whether or not you have a season pass.
Mortal Kombat X has two separately release dates depending on platform. It will come out first for the Xbox One, along with the PlayStation 4 and PC, on the 14th of April. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 gamers have to wait until sometime this summer in order to get the game. If you haven’t already, you can preorder the tenth mainline installment of the Mortal Kombat franchise with this page on Amazon.
