Vita version of BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend delayed

BlazBlue-Chrono-Phantasma-ExtendIt looks like the Vita version of the upcoming BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend won’t be coming out at the same time as the console releases. According to multiple shopping websites, including Amazon and GameStop, the fighting game won’t be hitting the handheld system until the 28th of July. That date falls on a Tuesday, which is when a majority of videogame software are released in the United States. So there may be some legitimacy to the delay.

The same shopping websites are still expecting that BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend will be coming out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PlayStation 3 consoles on the 30th of June. The game has been available in Japan since April 23rd of this year.

For the uninformed, BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend adds Celica A. Mercury and Lambda No.11 as playable characters to the roster. The new version also features new modes along with some gameplay tweaks. All of these additions should make Extend the definitive version of 2D fighter.

The original BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma was released in 2014 as the third mainline installment of the BlazBlue series. If you are interested, you can preorder the Vita version of BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend on Amazon with this link.
