The exact U.S. release date has been listed by Amazon for the upcoming Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei. The latest installment of the Languisher series is expected to come out next year on the 19th of April in the North American region. If you are interested, the strategy role-playing game is available for preorder with this link from the aforementioned shopping website.

Re: Incarnation Tensei features branching story paths based on your decisions. You can opt for the heroic or villainous path. The game also features three different factions as you can side with the armies of light, forces of darkness and even an ancient imperial juggernaut. In total, you can expect over 100 hours of gameplay.

The first Langrisser videogame came out in Japan for the Sega Genesis in 1991. It was localized in English and released in the North American region as Warsong. The subsequent installments stayed in Japan only until now.

If you are a fan of Langrisser, or the strategy role-playing game in general, you might want to check out the Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei when it launches exclusive for the Nintendo 3DS next year. The upcoming title was developed by Career Soft and Masaya Games in addition to being published by Aksys Games for the western release.
