Shenmue fans have been waiting for an eternity for Sega to announce Shenmue 3 after the cliffhanger ending to Shenmue 2. Nevertheless, it seems like Sega has moved on from the franchise in spite of the huge outcry from the fan base. Still, the company did not have any problems licensing the intellectual property for merchandising. So, there may still be hope for Shenmue 3. The Hazuki Jacket is a nice consolation price but a lot of the supporters would like to play a sequel instead.
