Amazon has updated the product page for the Nintendo 3DS version of Corpse Party, revealing what appears to be the release date. The survival horror visual novel is expected to come out for the handheld on the 30th of August in the North American region. If you are interested, you can preorder the Back to School Edition with this link from the shopping website.
Corpse Party has already been released for the PC and PlayStation Vita in the North American region. With the 3DS port, the 2D graphics got improved while four new extra chapters that will flesh out the characters and some plot elements have been added. Also exclusive in the upcoming version are an arranged music track and 3D art stills.
Corpse Party is a horror game where you control a group of students that were mysterious transported into a haunted school after completing a ritual. The original title did a great job a building enough tension that will lead to many chilling moments. Two sequels were released in North America for the first game: Book of Shadows and Blood Drive.
So, if you are a fan of the Corpse Party franchise and/or the survival horror genre, you might want to check out the upcoming 3DS port.
