The download size has been revealed for the PlayStation 4 version of What Remains of Edith Finch. When viewed directly on the PS4, the game’s product page on the PlayStation Store showed that it will require just 2.79 GB of free space on the hard drive of the console.
For the uninformed, What Remains of Edith Finch is a first-person adventure game where you play a collection of short stories based on a cursed family from the state of Washington. The sequences take place across vastly different eras, from the 1900s to the present day. Each of the scenarios end in the death of playable character. The main protagonist is Edith Finch, who has to figure out why she is the last of her family to be alive.
What Remains of Edith Finch was first announced for the PlayStation 4 at Sony’s press conference during the 2014 PlayStation Experience. It was later confirmed to be coming to the PC as well.
The upcoming game is developed by Giant Sparrow, the same company behind The Unfinished Swan. Annapurna Interactive is the publisher behind the PC and PS4 game.
What Remains of Edith Finch will be released on the 25th of April in the North American region.
